Freeman Productions
The true challenge for innovators is pioneering new horizons and having their creation accepted. Don and Judy Freeman created Tjapukai, the first ever Aboriginal Cultural Tourist Attraction and by doing so pioneered an industry.
In the twenty year development of the world renowned Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, Don and Judy Freeman have three times redeveloped the Tjapukai presentation of Indigenous culture to tourists.
Founders of Tjapukai, they supervised the concepts, the design, the building, the operations, the marketing, the international touring, the theatrics, the personnel and the quality control of this exceptional multi award winning attraction.
They are tourism consultants with a proven track record, especially in Indigenous Tourism projects. They are able to assemble a team of writers, display artists, audio-visual and technical designers and builders and undertake to provide help at any stage of the development from concept, through detailed design and construction, to mentoring the operations of a completed enterprise.
Freeman Productions pride themselves on their ability to involve the community and relevant stakeholders in all phases of the design and development of a project, and have proven abilities in this area.
They offer assistance with concept planning, scoping exercises, feasibility studies, financial management, corporate governance, product development and management, marketing planning and execution, collateral development, PR and media advice.
They are currently mentors in the Federal Government Indigenous Business Ready Program for four Indigenous Businesses in Australia.
Together Don and Judy have created special events for hundreds of corporate clients designing tailor made functions and parties for up to 2000 people. They look after all aspects of a function from concept creation through transport, food and beverage, entertainment, operations and venue selection.
